Background and Qualifications

Robert Mwaura is an Associate at JDA Advocates LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from Kenyatta University (Class of 2026) and is currently undertaking the Advocates Training Program (ATP) at the Kenya School of Law.
He has previously gained experience in legal research, corporate compliance, and transactional support, developing a strong foundation in commercial practice and legal advisory.

Experience

Legal practice in commercial law and conveyancing involves advising clients on regulatory compliance, structuring transactions, and managing legal risk. This includes conducting legal due diligence, drafting commercial agreements, processing property transfers, and preparing court pleadings.
Assisting in the preparation, review, and drafting of various commercial contracts, conveyance documents, legal opinions, and litigation pleadings.
Conducting comprehensive legal research and due diligence in connection with land transactions, corporate compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Liaising with statutory registries and regulatory authorities to facilitate document registrations, stamp duty processing, and obtaining requisite approvals on behalf of clients.
