Background and Experience
Elidy Wangeci is a senior public affairs, corporate relations and ESG professional with over 15 years of experience advising businesses and organisations on regulatory affairs, public policy, government relations, market access and sustainability across Sub-Saharan Africa.
She works with JDA Advocates LLP as a consultant on regulatory, public policy and ESG matters, complementing the Firm's legal advisory capabilities with practical experience in government engagement, regulatory strategy and stakeholder management.
Elidy has particular experience in the food and beverage sector, advising on product regulation, standards and compliance, fiscal policy, market access, cross-border trade and emerging food policy. Her work has involved engagement with national regulators, government ministries and regional institutions including the EAC, COMESA and AfCFTA.
She also advises on ESG and sustainability, including circular economy, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), responsible value chains and stakeholder engagement. Her international development experience includes partnerships with governments, development agencies and organisations including UNICEF, USAID and the World Food Programme.
